The work of Tigo Ayres, a contemporary British-Brazilian artist, is featured at CASACOR Sergipe 2025 under the curatorship of Ces Arts Galeria de Aracaju, Sergipe — one of the leading references in Sergipe’s and the Northeast’s art scene, recognised for promoting the integration of art, architecture, and interior design in projects that transform spaces into sensory and emotional experiences.

Held at the Palácio de Veraneio de Sergipe in Aracaju, the exhibition invites the public to experience this year’s national theme, “Semear Sonhos” (“Sowing Dreams”), which proposes reflections on collectivity, affection, and the construction of more sensitive, sustainable, and human futures.

In this edition, Ces Arts Galeria takes on the role of a curatorial and creative force, fostering dialogue between artists and architects through a narrative that celebrates dreams, memory, and gestures as transformative elements. The presence of Tigo Ayres reinforces this vision, bringing a poetic approach that merges ancestry, identity, and popular spirituality into the concept of dwelling and imagining.

Among the artworks on display:

“Cartas não escritas ao vento” and “Ao vento não escritas cartas”, featured in the Home Theater “Aurora”, designed by architect Wal Bastos.

These paintings evoke the idea of what remains unspoken — messages, emotions, and memories carried through time, still blossoming within imagination and dreams.

“Uma mesa, um gesto silencioso, um pacto de amor”, presented in the DECA – “Chalé de Veraneio”, designed by architect Maicon Amorim.

A reflection on pause and togetherness, symbolising the dream as a space of connection and shared affection.

Together, these works form part of the curatorial project by Ces Arts Galeria, reaffirming its commitment to valuing art as an element of encounter and transformation.

“When art becomes part of the space, it broadens our perception of life — inspiring dreams, honouring the past, and building bridges towards a more affectionate and humane present,” say Rodrigo Fonseca and Renato Mesquita, curators at Ces Arts Galeria de Aracaju, Sergipe.

In its entirety, “Sowing Dreams” finds in Tigo Ayres’ creations and Ces Arts Galeria’s curatorship a harmony between purpose and sensibility: the artistic gesture becomes a seed of dialogue between the intimate and the collective, between the home and the world. The artworks evoke the power of dreaming as a form of symbolic architecture — a space for healing, imagination, and belonging.
